In the World Showcase, the Morocco pavilion is the only one that doesn"t light up during ò€˜Illuminationsò€™ (the nightly fireworks extravaganza.)If you stay in Epcot to watch Illuminations, look toward the Morocco pavilion. Twice during the fireworks show, the World Showcase pavilions are outlined with strings of lights - all but Morocco. The Moroccan government requested that they not be illuminated because the buildings they represent have great religious significance.
3.Ò There are 2Ò water rides in the World Showcase. One is in Mexico and the other is in Norway. A third was planned for Germany but never built.Ò The building next to the Biergarten Restaurant was supposed to be the entrance to the German water ride.
